Therapy for an Embodied, Connected Life
Supporting women and couples in the Bay Area as they reconnect with themselves and each other.
Therapy for Women
You’re thoughtful, sensitive, and deeply aware—and sometimes, that feels like both a gift and a burden.
You’ve worked hard to hold everything together, but under the surface, anxiety, self-doubt, and emotional exhaustion have quietly taken a toll. Maybe you’re tired of always managing everyone else’s needs… while losing sight of your own.
Therapy can be a space to soften the pressure, quiet the inner critic, and finally reconnect with who you are—beneath the perfectionism, the overthinking, and the overwhelm.
Together, we’ll create room for your voice, your needs, and your truth. A life that feels more grounded, more aligned, and fully yours.
Couples Therapy
Lately, even the small stuff turns into misunderstandings—or silence. You love each other, but it feels like you’re speaking different languages. Miscommunication, frustration, and distance have created patterns that feel hard to break.
Couples therapy offers a compassionate space to untangle what’s keeping you stuck, rebuild your bond, and create a relationship that feels strong, safe, and connected.

Hi, I’m Sarah (she, her)
I’m a Licensed Marriage & Family Therapist based in the San Francisco, Bay Area.
I help sensitive, thoughtful people who feel overwhelmed or disconnected come back to themselves—so they can feel safe in their bodies, clear in their minds, and steady in their relationships.
I work with individuals and couples, both in-person and online, offering compassionate support for highly sensitive people, adult children of alcoholics, trauma recovery, and complex family dynamics.
While my practice is called Bay Area Women’s Psychotherapy, I warmly welcome and affirm people of all genders, including nonbinary, trans, and gender-expansive people.

“To tell the truth is to become beautiful, to begin to love yourself, value yourself. And that's political, in its most profound way.“
-June Jordan, Caribbean-American Poet
